Embedded Software Engineer

A leading company specialising in the design and manufacture of industrial machines, complete production lines, and serialised modules for a variety of sectors, including medical, semiconductor, automotive, and defence, is seeking to expand its engineering team. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join their dynamic team.
About The Role:
In this position, you will be part of a team of 5 engineers responsible for developing control system designs and providing the necessary technical justifications. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and planners, you will deliver customised solutions for projects of varying scale.
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
• A BSc or equivalent degree in a relevant technical field
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a software engineer with significant experience in low-level embedded software
• Expertise in (embedded) C++ and Python
• Knowledge of manual and automation testing and willingness to apply the knowledge when required.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and have a hands-on mentality
• A proactive, detail-oriented team player who can work independently when needed.
