Hardware Engineer

We are looking for a talented Hardware Engineer to join a leading team focused on embedded systems in the electronics sector. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team, contributing to the specification, design, simulation, and testing of converter electronics. You will report functionally to the project manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing electronic hardware components and systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Creating schematic diagrams and PCB layouts using CAD tools.
  • Performing simulations and analyses to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Prototyping and testing hardware designs to validate functionality.
  • Working with manufacturing partners to transition designs into production.
  • Maintaining documentation and version control throughout the development process.

You:

We are seeking an individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, capable of driving both personal and company growth. Additionally, you should possess:

  • BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in hardware design, schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Expertise in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance.
  • Good understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Knowledge with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with the product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch communication
