Quality Inspector Aerospace

A leading aerospace company in Eindhoven is looking for a Quality Inspector. Do you have an eye for detail and want to work on high-quality products for the aviation industry? Then this could be the perfect challenging role for you!


As a Quality Inspector in the aerospace sector, you will be responsible for inspecting aviation products made from high-grade materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and nickel alloys. You will ensure that all products meet quality standards through visual, dimensional, and geometric inspections. These inspections typically involve single items or small production runs. Additionally, you will guide production operators in performing quality checks and help promote a strong quality-focused mindset within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional and geometric measurements using various measuring tools.
  • Apply product identification to ensure traceability in production.
  • Ensure that all product documentation is completed according to guidelines and properly archived.
  • Approve manufacturing steps for further processing and final products.
  • Conduct final inspections and approve products for customer delivery.
  • Promote and uphold aviation quality standards within the organization.

Requirements
  • MTS/MBO-level diploma in precision engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the precision engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in quality inspections and technical assessments.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and understanding geometric and positional tolerances.
  • Highly independent, accurate, and technically skilled.
  • Ability to work effectively within a quality management system.
