Job Description:
As a Software Lead Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of software engineers and architects to develop advanced applications, with a special focus on embedded software in precision-driven environments. Your role will involve ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through clear processes, accurate estimations, and a focus on continuous improvement. You will work closely with professionals from various disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics engineering.
Effective communication is crucial in this role. You will proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that your work meets high standards and is delivered on time. Your expertise in software development processes will be essential in identifying gaps and implementing effective solutions.
What you will need:
To excel in this position, you should bring a blend of technical expertise and soft skills. Key qualifications include:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in developing technical software, particularly in C# and embedded C
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Unified Modeling Language (UML)
• Experience working within Agile development teams
• A background in high-tech mechatronic environments is highly desirable
• Additional skills in areas such as databases, PLCs, test strategies, or electronics/mechatronics would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and understandable manner
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• A strong desire to learn and grow within the high-tech industry
